Richard Williams became a controversial figure in the world sports, as the father from Compton, CA honed his two daughters' skills and raved about them to cynics and critics. His words would prove prophetic, as Venus and Serena would go on to take the world of tennis by storm.
Smith stars alongside Aunjanue Ellis, Jon Bernthal, Liev Schreiber, Saniyya Sidney and Demi Singleton. The film was co-produced by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith's Overbrook Films. The movie is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and is written by Zach Baylin.
