Public Enemy has dropped a new video for their single "Public Enemy Number Won." The track is one of the more buzzed-about on their latest album What Ya Gonna Do When The Grid Goes Down? and features fellow legends Rev. Run and D.M.C. of Run-D.M.C., as well as Mike D and Ad Rock from the Beastie Boys.
The song is a revisiting of P.E.'s early classic "Public Enemy, No. 1" and the animated video is especially eye-catching, as cartoon versions of the emcees drop verses over the kinetic production. The video echoes the group's previous visual for "GRID," which features funk legend George Clinton.
What Ya Gonna Do... marks P.E.'s return to their original label Def Jam after 20 years operating independently. Frontman Chuck D is also featured on Atlanta rap legends Goodie Mob's single "Are You Ready," which was released last month.
