Long Beach rapper, Vince Staples sat down with the L.A Leakers at Power 106 Los Angeles Wednesday morning (July 7). Staples spits over the timeless west coast anthem, Dre Dre’s, “Xxxplosive.” Staples spits at the top of his game in the four-minute freestyle, telling a story that sounds straight out of a John Singleton film, here Vince Staples flaunts his lyrical and storytelling ability.
The freestyle comes off the release of his latest single, “Are You With That,” the second single from his upcoming self-titled LP, set to release Friday, July 9. The new single features production from Kenny Beats and Reske with a more melodic Vince reminiscing about his past as a Long Beach gang member while dealing with PTSD that comes with it
