Scarface Receives Kidney Transplant From Son

Houston rapper Brad “Scarface” Jordan has undergone kidney transplant surgery and is successfully in recovery. Rap-a-Lot Records founder and longtime friend of Scarface, J. Prince, took to his Instagram account to post a photo of the rapper in his hospital bed, announcing that the surgery went well.

In October of 2020, Scarface announced that he was suffering kidney failure while battling COVID-19. The rapper took to his Twitter account with the news asking for any volunteers to give the Houston legend a transplant, tweeting, “I need a kidney y’all any volunteers? B+ blood type.”

It appears that Scarface’s son, Chris Jordan stepped up to the plate, donating his kidney to save his father’s life. Scarface’s friend and longtime business partner J. Prince posted a photo announcing the wellbeing of his friend.

“Congrats to my brother @brothermob & his son @_iamchrisjordan for giving his father one of his kidneys. I celebrate with the both of you for being an example of unending love. Chris, a lot of people talk about how much they love your dad, but you have separated yourself from the talkers by your actions. We all salute the both of you and wish you both a speedy recovery.”

Peace to Scarface and his family, and here’s to a speedy recovery.
