Houston rap icon, Paul Wall, has released his 13th studio album, Hall of Fame Hustler, on Friday (September 10). The album was released in partnership with the Oiler Mobb ENT. and ONErpm. Paul Wall revisits his iconic Houston, Texas sound with 808s, heavy bass, slow melodies, and classic dirty-south delivery and lyricism.
The album’s lead single, “Still Sippin,” features fellow Texas emcees Slim Thug and Lil Keke, referencing classic Houston hip-hop culture. Hall of Gamer Hustler also features some notable acts from the likes of Z-Ro, Max Minelli, and Marty James.
"This album is the soundtrack to the hustle. Its purpose is to motivate and inspire people to always do their best. And most importantly, never give up on the grind," Paul Wall says in a press release. "I connected with some of my favorite hustlers and go-getters to be producers and collaborating artists on this project. Plus, Mike Frost definitely killed the Akira inspired artwork," he continues.
