Last week Nas announced his upcoming 14th studio album, King’s Disease II. The album is the follow-up to last year’s King’s Disease, which earned the rap legend his first-ever Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.
The Queens rapper has just released the official tracklist to the album via his Instagram account. The list features some hip-hop elites like Eminem and EPMD, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, YG, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Charlie Wilson, and Blxst. California producer, Hit-Boy returns as executive producer.
Fans are excited to hear the follow-up to the rapper’s critically acclaimed album. Just last month, Nas recruited Freddie Gibbs and Cordae to breathe new life into his 1993 track, “Life is Like a Dice Game”. Left unfinished since ‘93, Nas teams up with two leaders of the new school along with Hit-Boy to make the classic freestyle a new RapCavier x Spotify single.
If “Life is Like a Dice Game” is any indication of what King’s Disease II will sound like, we may be in for one of the best albums of the summer. Big salute to Nas for keeping hip-hop classic in 2021.
