Houston rapper Maxo Kream has shared a new single and music video featuring production and a verse by one of hip-hop’s “biggest personas,” Tyler, the Creator. “Big Persona” is a hard-hitting trap anthem reminiscent of classic dirty south crunk records. Both Maxo Kream and Tyler boast their rap lifestyle jewelry and accolades. The single is paired with a music video as the two do donuts in a Rolls Royce like a young Watch the Throne.
Maxo Kream is preparing to drop his new album, Weight of the World, in October. This is his second release of the year, coming after the track “Local Joker,” his heartfelt tribute to his late brother. He also featured on Wale’s “Down South” with fellow Texas rapper Yella Breezy in August.
Tyler, the Creator’s sixth studio album, Call Me If You Get Lost, which dropped earlier this year, was met with critical and commercial success, becoming his second number one album. The LA rapper has since featured on two songs with Snoh Aalegra snd directed a hilarious Converse commercial.
