After hosting two live listening events in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium for his long-awaited studio album, Donda, this time, Ye is taking his listening event to his hometown of Chicago, at Soldier Field, on August 26.
The second event at Mercedes-Benz Stadium was live-streamed via Apple Music and featured a more elaborate stage show, new songs, and more polished production. Fans are starting to get antsy after the second delay; initially set to drop on July 22, then moved to August 6, the album is still yet to be released.
Ye’s manager, Bu Thiam, took to his Instagram account to respond to some fan’s questions about the album’s release date. After a fan asked if the album would materialize after the third event, Thiam responded “100%”.
