Eminem can cross yet another historical milestone off his lsit of career accomplishments. The rap icon's greatest hits album Curtain Call has now spent a full decade on the Billboard 200 chart.
The compilation of Slim Shady’s biggest hits up until that point, the release includes classics like "Stan," "Without Me," "My Name Is", and "Lose Yourself." Curtain Call debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Album Chart and sold 441,000 copies in just two days.
According to Forbes, the compilation has now become the first Hip-Hop record to sit a full 10 years in the Billboard 200. The March 21 chart (via Chart Data) makes official the album has been on the chart for a record 520 weeks.
Curtain Call becomes the sixth longest-running album in Billboard 200 history, coming in behind Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon (958 weeks), Bob Marley And The Wailers’ Legend (669), Journey’s Greatest Hits (659), Metallica’s eponymous 1991 album aka "The Black Album" (598); and Guns N’ Roses’ Greatest Hits (520).
