DMX Mural unveiled in Yonkers

DMX Mural Unveiled In Yonkers

DMX has been honored with a mural in Yonkers.

The mural is on a wall in Calcagno Houses, the public housing complex in Yonkers that DMX once called home. The Yonkers Arts organization was commissioned to restore an existing mural; it was residents who wanted that restoration to include a tribute to the hometown Hip-Hop star.

Created by artist Floyd "90 Degree" Simmons, (who is of no relation to the late rapper), the mural is facing School Street. The project had seen delays due to weather conditions, but was officially unveiled on Tuesday (July 13).
