The highly-anticipated posthumous DMX album Exodus is set to drop on Friday and producer Swizz Beatz held a listening party in New York City the Monday before (May 24) and the project's official first single has been released.
"Hood Blues" features the trio of Griselda, Westside Gunn, Benny the Butcher and Conway the Machine, and the track is produced by Swizz Beatz and Avenue Beatz. The track features a sample of Sean Price's “Figure Four” and serves as a strong appetizer for the project to come.
DMX, born Earl Simmons, passed away on April 9 at the age of 50.
