In the past few weeks, rumors have been circulating that hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was working on a new project. On Wednesday (July 21), the legendary producer and founder of Bad Boy Records announced an upcoming album and release date for the project.
Diddy announced his fourth studio album, Off The Grid Vol. 1, which would be released on all streaming services later this year on September 24, 2021. Diddy took to his social media to say, “OFF THE GRID. The Album September 24, 2021. Welcome to the LOVE ERA!”
This will be Diddy’s first project since his 2015 mixtape, MMM (Money Making Mitch), which featured some notable names from Jadakiss, Pusha T, Travis Scott, French Montana, Lil Kim and more. Fans can expect another star-studded feature list for his upcoming album. I mean, of course, it’s only the most successful executive producer in hip-hop history.
Diddy’s announcement will add to the list of hip-hop superstars that plan to drop an album this summer, along with Drake and Kanye West.
Here’s to a hot Summer 2021!
