Consequence Disses Kayne West

Consequence Disses Drake Amid Kanye West Beef

G.O.O.D. Music signee and longtime Kanye West collaborator, Consequence has shared a new diss song aimed at Drake in regards to his ongoing beef with Kanye West.

The diss song is called “Party Time” and responds to the Toronto rapper leaking the unreleased collaboration between Kanye West and Andre 3000, “Life of The Party.” The Queens rapper and long-time collaborator of Kanye West took to social media on Friday (September 4), writing, “Since ‘Life of The Party’ got leaked...I guess it’s Party Time #QueensAllDay.”

Soon after, Con dropped “Party Time” with a sample of Tracey Lee’s 1997 anthem “The Theme(It’s Party Time).” The song addresses the rapper’s issues with both Drake and Diddy, rapping: “We know two wrongs never makes thing right/ But when you insinuate, you are with the next man’s wife/ You might as well say you take the next man’s life/ ’Cause that’s a dark place that makes most men fight.”

He continued with shots toward Drake and his team, continuing with: Who told Aubs that he can play with them?/ That boy Cons can run the fade with them/ I wish we could shoot five instead of group chats/ Next time bring Chubbs when you shoot back.”

Over the past month, Kanye West and Drake have gone back and forth as the two both rolled out the two most highly anticipated hip-hop albums of the year. On Drake’s Certified Loverboy, the rapper seems to aim some disses toward Kanye West on the track “7am On Bridle Path”.

While on a press run in Berlin, Kanye teased the unreleased “Life of The Party “ with Andre 3000. The song was initially written for Donda but was taken off due to the change of concept, as Kanye is heard dissing Drake by name on the record. Only a day after, Drake leaked the diss track himself on his OVO Sound radio.

The Drake and Kanye beef has been extremely exciting as two of our culture’s most prized acts go back and forth, cementing both of their spots at the top of the game.
