Big Boi Developing TV Series Based On Iconic Studio, The Dungeon

Big Boi of the timeless Atlanta hip-hop duo Outkast is developing a new reality TV series based on the iconic recording studio, The Dungeon. The studio was the safe haven where Outkast, Goodie Mob, and Killer Mike recorded their early work in an Atlanta basement home studio.

The rapper who founded Outkast with Andre 3000 in 1992 is developing a DIY home improvement style show where he helps budding artists build their dream home studio much like that of the Dungeon Family.

The announcement comes just a few years after Big Boi bought the iconic Atlanta studio for himself, where Outkast’s debut album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, and Goodie Mob’s early work were recorded.

“Growing up, I spent hours in the Dungeon, writing rhymes and putting together beats,” Big Boi said. “I’m excited to work with the next generation of artists in a space that inspired countless songs and bring some of that magic to their own spaces.”

The series is still under development and yet to be titled. Be on the lookout for more updates on Big Boi and his show based on the forever iconic Dungeon Family.
