Big Boi Leads the Atlanta Crowd As Hawks Defeat Bucks

The Atlanta Hawks are the Cinderella story of the 2021 NBA postseason and ATL's Hip-Hop stars are riding the wave. Atlanta legend Big Boi was a visible presence at the Hawks Game 4 win over the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals, and Daddy Fat Sax made sure to let the hometown crowd know what time it was.

Big Boi lead the crowd through an impassioned "ATL, HO!" chant and delivered a brief performance of his Purple Ribbon All-Stars hit "Kryptonite" during a timeout.

The Hawks, who were without star point guard Trae Young, roundly beat the highly-favored Bucks, who also watched nervously as their superstar, two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, went down with a hyperextended knee in the second half. Antetokounmpo would not return, as the Hawks routed the Bucks to a 110-88 win to even their series. The Eastern Conference Finals head back to Milwaukee for Game 5 on Thursday (7/1).
