In promotion for the upcoming ABC music-drama series “Queens,” which premieres on Tuesday (October 19), the fictitious female rap supergroup, Nasty Bitches, released their first lead single, “Nasty Girl,” paired with a music video directed by “Queens” executive producer Tim Story.
The show stars Eve, aka Professor Sex, Brandy aka Xplicit Lyrics, Naturi Baughton aka Da Thrill, and Nadine Velazquez, aka Butter Pecan, a rap supergroup who blew up in the ‘90s looking to rekindle their careers in the present day.
The music video is reminiscent of the big-budget rap videos of the late ‘90s, with yachts, bottle popping, and backup dancers, with the four emcees spitting at the top of their game. The song’s production was handled by none other than Bronx hitmaker Swizz Beatz, as he steps in as the show’s executive music producer.
Be sure to check out the music video for “Nasty Girl,” and remember to check out the series premiere on October 19.
