Rock The Bells founder LL COOl J made a guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday night (September 29) to discuss his luxurious yacht trips with Magic Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson, his upcoming album, and getting inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
The Queens hip-hop legend appeared on the late-night show to promote the 13th season of the hit television series NCIS: Los Angeles and his role as Sam Hanna. After thirteen years on the show, LL COOL J is thankful for being a part of the hit show.
“I thought it would go a couple of years, but you know what, I’m having fun, I’m enjoying it, the people are enjoying it we have a good time,” he said when asked about the show.
Earlier this year, LL went on a luxurious yacht trip with his superstar friends, Magic Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson, in Italy. Jealous that he missed out on an invite, host Jimmy Kimmel asked LL about his opulent star-studded vacay.
It was announced earlier this year that LL COOL J will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. While on the topic of the ceremony, LL hinted at an upcoming album to be executive produced by fellow Queens legend, Q-Tip.
“There’s gonna be a lot of good things that happen musically,” says LL. “I’m working on it with Q-Tip, he’s executive producing it.”
Congratulations to the one and only LL COOL J for properly getting his flowers for being an absolute trailblazer of hip-hop and popular culture.
